Expenses

Record an expense against a project with a category, vendor, amount, and an optional receipt attachment. Mark it billable if it should appear on an invoice, and record the GST/tax paid on it so your reports can show input tax credits.

Billing an expense

Billable expenses import onto an invoice the same way tracked time does — itemised, with a preview, and each expense can only be billed once. See Importing tracked time for the same discipline applied here.
