Recurring bills

Putting a bill on a repeating schedule.

Mark a bill recurring (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly) and Springtrack automatically drafts the next copy on schedule — same line items, new dates, a fresh bill number — so you don't have to re-enter a rent or subscription bill by hand. This uses the same scheduling engine as recurring invoices.

Each generated bill starts life as a Draft, so you can review it before submitting it for approval.

Managing a recurring bill

Every bill with a schedule shows up under the Recurring tab on the Bills page, alongside its frequency and the date its next copy will be drafted. Search the list by bill number or vendor the same way as the main Bills table.

To change the frequency or turn a schedule off, open the bill and choose Edit recurring schedule — either from the Recurring panel on the bill itself or from a row on the Recurring tab. This takes you to the bill's edit page, where a Recurring section lets you flip the schedule on or off and pick a new frequency; the next copy's date updates to match as soon as you save.
