Plans and upgrading
The tier ladder, seat caps, and what each plan unlocks.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | — | 1 | 3 projects, 3 clients |
| Starter | $19 | $228 | 1 | Unlimited |

| Business | $199 | $2,268 | 12 included, then $6/mo ($72/yr) per extra seat | Unlimited |
On every plan, including Free
Time tracking and timesheets, invoicing, estimates, expenses, bills, the kanban board (one board per project, with sprints, burndown charts and task dependencies), reports including the AU tax reports, the client portal, timesheet approvals, and CSV import.
What Starter adds
Only one thing: unlimited projects and clients (Free is capped at 3 of each).
What Pro and Business add
- Team management — invite teammates and give them roles, beyond the single seat of Free and Starter.
- Recurring invoices.
- Automatic payment reminders — before the due date and while overdue. See Emails.
- More than one board per project, and board templates.
- The Harvest and Xero import connectors. See Importing and exporting your data.
- Texting a client the link to an invoice or estimate. Any plan can buy text-message credits on Settings → Plan & billing, but sending needs Pro or Business.
- Online card payments — your clients pay invoices by card from the link you send them. See Getting paid online.
Business has the same features as Pro — it differs only in seats.
Changing plans
Upgrade or manage your subscription from Settings → Plan & billing (Owner or Billing role). Subscribing or changing tiers takes effect within moments of completing checkout. Cancelling downgrades you to Free at the end of your current billing period — your data isn't deleted, but premium features stop working until you resubscribe.
Downgrading below your current seat usage
If you're over the new plan's seat cap, Springtrack won't let the downgrade silently lock people out — you'll be asked to remove members first, or the downgrade is blocked with a clear message showing how many seats are over.
Referral program
Settings → Plan & billing (Owner or Billing role) shows your organisation's referral link — copy it and share it. When someone signs up through it and subscribes to a paid plan, you both get 10% off your subscription, for as long as you keep it.
A referral starts Pending as soon as someone signs up through your link, and flips to Rewarded once they actually subscribe — your discount is applied automatically at that point, whichever side converts first. The panel also lists everyone you've referred and where each one stands.
